Major Charles G. Helmick
15th FA Regiment
Major Charles G. Helmick, 15th FA Regiment, was awarded three Silver Star Medals and the French Croix De Guerre for bravery under fire during WW-I. He is pictured here in his Naval Academy Uniform at Graduation and later as a Lieutenant Colonel in the mid-1930's. He retired as a Major General in 1952. Photos from the Helmick Family

During the Occupation of Germany in 1919, the 15th FA Regiment produced a Vaudeville Show. The 15th FA Regiment was fortunate to have many talented musicians, singers, dancers, actors, and comedians and they volunteered to entertain the 2nd Division troops in and around Neuweid, Germany. This is a picture of the Program they produced in the spring of 1919
